2nd week of school..

Not that I wanna title my blog entries by nth week of school.. but I can't put a long entry here as much as I want to..
Taking up Block Head has made me incredulously busy.. can't imagine how next week's going to be when IBG kicks in full force and tutorials start.
Sometimes I think I should just quit school and be full-time Block Head/Shearite.
1st COBH was fun.. Block Comm 0506 elections went well (with minor glitches at the end.. but oh well..) 1st Meeting just ended.. so far so good..
Slept a whole precious afternoon away when I could be webcasting.. in the end when I really wanted to catch up with my webcast the server was down. WTH.
I better sleep soon to prevent my life from turning upside-down so early in the semester. Luckily I still have a whole afternoon for academics tomorrow.. (I hope)
And I think I should congratulate myself.. for attaining monkhood.. finally.

Setting Life in Order
Ok man.. I didn't expect the 3 months break to end so soon.. I started on this post some time back already but couldn't complete it coz I always had visitors in my room.. haha.. so the past few nights have been chatting and talking cock away.. with the breeze from the sea blowing in.. quite shiok lehz...
Yet again I couldn't complete this post so I'm starting blogging again.. Just came back from a very full (and very expensive) Block Outing.
Something's wrong with me.. wonder if it's coz my room's too comfy now.. or I'm just bitten by the sleep bug of late.. but all I do is sleep nowadays.. in between lectures.. after lectures.. after dinner.. after talkcock sessions.. Came back from home last night after seniors meeting and the 1st thing I did is sleep.. considering that I slept like many many hours before that.. think I need more exercise.
So I just updated my timetable on my palmtop.. got Mark to help buy a stylus to replace the lost one.. printed notes for next week.. and dragged out old textbooks from the gallows of my cupboard with the hope of selling them.. and get ready for another hectic academic life
Rag
This portion should have come right after rag itself.. but 1 week after the event.. watching the video again still feels shiok. Even much so after seeing all other halls lousy performances (and floats)
I remember Tat kept on lugging me to join Rag Dance while working at CNet during the holidays.. which I decisively rejected.. coz I really was not good enough. But it was really a twist of fate and luck that Fangxi offered me the callefarre role of the Ringmaster. Though all I did during the performance was sit at the back with Meichin and 'watch the show'... the feeling of being right in the heart of MidwayFair itself was far more absorbing than watching the performance by the sidelines.
I cried when we won the awards one by one. I know I wouldn't have if I were in orange rather than the ringmaster suit. Maybe it was because I felt the loss of Esentya before.. so the elation of MidwayFair's victory was catapulted. But for once I really felt proud being a Shearite.. at least there was something we could smack the other halls with rather than being looked at as a 2nd rate hall.
Best Float, Best Float Design, Best Presentation, Centennial Dance Award... Great job Raggers!
Emcee
Thanks to Chermaine's recommendation I was approached to emcee the NUS Triathalon by their organising committee. Cool huh? Though I would be paid $200 I guess the money does not really matter but the experience of emceeing a large-scale public event.. increase my market value some more.

And so Cher told me on msn that night that they got another person instead. Hmm.. alright. was it dumb of me to tell them the truth? Well.. I didn't want to spoil their event mah.. so must give them mental preparation they got some sort of a newbie.

Well.. what is meant to come will come again. And I won't be so dumb next time.
Block Comm
Seniors meeting yesterday. Everything turned out as predicted. Was kinda off coz it was too smooth until questions came bombarding from Ben. And of course I took the opportunity to tell deeBlocker seniors how I felt about everything.. from this past year.. which I think went on quite well.
Quite excited for the new block comm to step up. But also the great responsibilities that lay ahead now. Though I think I should be able to handle it.. but at what expense?
Anyway I was digging through my past photos and saw this...
How time flies.. now I know why these 4 were suddenly in my room during last year's senior's meeting =) 
For now.. I should start getting my academics kickstarted in the right direction 1st. =)

I bought it.. yes.. my dream phone.. for $668.. without line.. whoa damn happy but damn 心痛 also.. coz I paid another $50 for the limited Dark Gray Edition one... though it looks much nicer than the plastic black one.. at this stage of my financial status.. I really shouldn't be splashing on flash.
But I love my phone!!!
I'll prolly spend the whole of tomorrow charging it so won't be able to use it until night time..
Ok I have to hit the bed now otherwise will be late for Freshmen Inauguration tomorrow
