It was just after Rag Dance prac when Cailin and Karen suddenly appeared in front of the Dance Studio to discuss about later's steamboat thingy.. And before I could figure out how to use my limited Blk Comm manpower they started arrowing themselves with Cailin going "Ok later I write a list of what ingredients to buy and how to cook the noodles.. maybe I can cook earlier?" and Karen was going "Ok I cook, I cook can one.."
And Wendy enlightened my how wonderful my Block Comm members were and how lucky I was.
Oh yes they are a delightful bunch.. I smsed them to put up the 'No Freshies Allowed in Pantries' sign in the morning and by the time I got to hall they were all up despite initial complaints that they were super busy with open house tomorrow...

Seems like today was a Get-Things-Done day.. I finally settled getting a tutor for my existing tutee while I go for SEP (thanks sukiang) and William finally got wordpress installed onto the Block Website server (thanks william) and confirmed my leave next week (working only TWO days!!) and finally fixed a date to settle our SEP travel plans....
While I'm excited about seeing the new deeBlockers later I'm getting a bit skeptical about the smashing impact thingy I'm trying to create tomorrow.. for 1 thing very few seniors are coming back.. the projector that I initially wanted to screen videos with is malfunctioning.. and I really hope the steamboat idea will turn out well...

10:12.. that was my timing for 2.4 on the track just now.. still quite a bit off from 9:44 which I'm supposed to get in a weeks time..
Sukiang ran a 11:00 on the track but did a 10:30 in Maju Camp for his IPPT.. so I hope the -30secs applies to me as well...
I really need the money man.. just realised if I wanna stay in hall (illegally in JW's room) i need to pay like over $200! coz there's a ONE WEEK PENALTY if the room is rejected and I have to bear all the stupid electricity and food bills and crap.. and there's the impending Blk Comm treat which i have to give before i fly off.. so I better run my life out next sat for the money..
Scarlly I cannot jump 234, which seriously, is a greater fear.
Was reading Paw and WJ's blogs and they seem to have a lot of fun in the US.. oh can't wait to start my own travel blog as well.. =)
And the 1st shocking news when I got home just now was my favourite GAYLE NERVA is out of SINGAPORE IDOL!!! Oh she's such a babe and her singing rocks how come nobody vote for her?? Someone please tell me there's a revival round! Singapore idol's not worth watching now.. bah

I ran a disgusting 10:30 on the NUS road relay route yesterday.. which was about 2+km.. and I was actually aiming for 8.30, the timing I got in year 1.. guess more training in like 9 DAYS.. if I wanna get my gold.. seems impossible now =(
More so now that I'm feeling like I'm breaking apart.. my knees are crumbling as they already have from last time but dance seemed to have making it slightly worse.. well it was only my right knee initially but the dropping down move in dance has aggravated my left now.. stunts has made my shoulder caps feel out place.. and my wrist seems wrong too..
And I'm now freaking tired.. going to sleep early (now) for once...
Glad my 2xp card is over.. haha taking a break from maple for a while...

No title for this post coz it's so random I can't think of a title for it..
My 2xp card for Maple is ending tonight but I just can't find time for Maple the past few days.. or maybe I'm just sick of the game.. Sat night I almost fell asleep mapling.. Sunday night I didn't even start I think.. I just plonked on my bed while at the maple login screen.. my bad for not getting proper sleep on weekdays..
I guess I'll probably not renew my 2xp card ba.. unless I hit level 50 before 5th Aug by doing PQ.. which is rather impossible..
And today? I spent my night on a mail-sending-marathon.. to BlockHeads.. to Nicholas.. to SEP Co-ord.. to the Block.. to Alumni.. to Block Comm.. to Freshies.. to Chongwee.. ha such is the life of a Block Head.. email generator.. of which many will not be read =(
Well on Sunday I just did another public emceeing stint in Nanyang CC again.. this time with Shyuan and I must say I was much more comfortable.. my last partner was too er.. intimidating? Well at least it's easier to work with someone I know.. think I did a bit better this time.. hope more jobs come. (Too bad Triathalon just ended... would love to do it after missing it the last time hehe)
Actually I was watching some of the pro-entertainers on Sunday.. and was just thinking to myself it'll be great if I can really SING.. yea.. then I can have my own show like the 'Clement Chio Show' and go do gigs and make money out of it.. think this is something I'll really love doing.. costumes, can make.. dance, dan practice.. magic, can learn but song, cannot sing means cannot sing =(
Was talking to CWC my OCS buddy (also helping out at NYCC) and he was telling me tips on running 2.4 and SBJ.. told Block Comm that I'll treat pizza if I got gold on the 29th.. and now the notion of getting GOLD really set into my head.. 11 days more and I don't have the confidence of running under 9.44 and jumping more than 234.. though i know it may be possible.. after all the dance stretching and stuff.. but it's just the confidence i need..
Need to hit the track some time..
Oh I bought myself a funky pair of specs today.. $276!! Part of my Grand Splurge plan... Collecting them on the 31st July..
Okiez.. time to hit the sacks.. another boring day at work tomorrow.....

One boring Saturday afternoon.. and I love it! It's been ages since I slacked at home like this.. packed my room a bit.. and most of the time I'm.. thinking of wad to do.. Hence.. I blog.
Nothing much has happened in my life except for the same ol routine.. Told my boss about quitting and he said 'See first'. Bah.
Weijie and Chye have flown.. feel so excited for them..
And the situps and pushups during dance has left me in aches..
Ran 8K with Zaihao yesterday which left my knee wobbly also.

The Grand Splurge (Part 1)

It was suppoed to be a lazy Sunday.. until Weijie called me at 9am asking me if wanna go SimLim.
Oh and why not?
And I bought myself a 1GB RAM for $189.. which makes my laptop a Lightning McQueen now haha.. The difference is sweet when I can just switch from Maple to Windows w/o lagging. =) On top of that I finally bought a screen protector for my very scratched camera screen and a cheap digi watch to replace the cheap army watch which survived since my army days..
Part 2: iPod (which i didn't buy coz a good shopkeepter told me there's a new version coming out.. though prices are really cheap there), Imation 2GB Thumbdrive (which prices dropped from $104 to $97 in 1 month.. so i expect to drop further until before i leave haha.. after all i won't need a thumbdrive now)
Which would really leave me penniless.
Ok can't blog much.. got my eyes glued to the TV hurhur..
