Orientation 2nd week, Dance, Flag, Rag, Initiation...

What a jam packed week!
Rag dance practice wasn't that shiong after all.. well one thing good about being a dementor.. simple steps and cool costumes. The seniors practiced really really hard.. think they did the same dance thousand times over already.. and the bruises they had all over their bodies doing those stunts.. it's a pity the shield didn't get into our hands.. What was it that Eusoff has? Stilts? Colourful costumes? I think they judges were looking out for the overall fanfare feel.. after all.. it was a 'Best Presentation' award.. not the 'Best Dance'. If it were the latter we would have won hands down. I can't believe I watched them dance it more than 20 times over and not sick of it. And yes, the final pose was still breathtaking.
And I guess the float would have been way more impressive if it could really change colour totally.. that would have been more awesome than temasek's box thing.. what was it that they did anyway? Well.. I still think they more prizes should have been given out. After all.. all halls and all facs worked so hard for this.. terribly unjustified that Business and Eusoff should just sweep everything like that..
Probably would have won if we worked harder at flag. Would we? Maybe I'm still a freshman and totally stupidly on about such stuff.. but the seniors weren't. Raffles Place is a crraazzzeeeee place to flag.. crowds swarm around like bees and most just ignore you.. well of course those that do contribute are generous with their coins.. (not to mentions Faith had an old man stuffing a $50 note into her can without asking for a flag).
My Fujitsu E8010 is ready.. but I can't collect it coz I've to wait for the freakin loan to process!! ok.. what the hell.. just a few more days so I just have to bear with it.. they better call me on Thursday or I'll barge into their Co-op and yell at them.
What's up next week? Formal Dinner on Tuesday.. Block initiation on Wednesday.. National Day Celebration on Thursday.. not to mention school's starting.. what the hell.. I wanna lead a simple hall life and to have the freedom to do what I want.. Now I'm beginning to suffocate at the overwhelming number of activities here.. Now I don't even have time for tuition/sending Quek off/my own activities...
