5 more days to the end of all this madness... I'm now trying to start studying CEP (the module which I so very dread.. which I failed my mid-term baaaadly) but I really dunno how to start... still I need to coz I (ironically) need to neutralise the buang maths exam i took earlier today...
I wanted very much to blog about maths earlier on but I guess it's better to forget about it.. face the music again when the results are released.... *sigh* but I dun deny i was contemplating to not stay in hall if my CAP sucked... and resign to the fate of a true chao-mugger.. and my new hall will be the central library...
At home now.. with my hi-fi blasting away (yah i so miss my hifi when i'm in hall).. air con turned on (I usually don't turn on the air con at night but today was unusually swealtering hot!) and with all the mess on my desk.. tuition stuff.. old notes I wanna stack away for good.. my bank statements and phone bills and debit card statements i wanna file.. even my digital ixus box is still smack right in the middle of my desk waiting to take its place in the cupboard.. just to lazy to... Feel so sorry and guilty now.. no wonder my mother's been complaining my room's the worst in the whole house.. guess with the next 3 months spent here.. it's time to bring it back to shape...
Talking about shape.. i saw CWC (my ocs buddy) outside the gates of the engine hellhole (exam hall) just now and he told me I was fatter haa.. like the good ol days when he always suan me about being fat and always fighting with him for that extra second faster in 2.4 or SOC... so it's a resolute that I swim everyday during the 3 months break.. nmind if I swim alone.. of course if you want to join me i'm more than glad.. =)
I know you are sniggering away.. it's just like my new year resolution to lose 0.5kg every month haha.. but to make myself sound determined..

Religiously catching this show.. i think it's getting daunting now that all the good singers are gone.. and it's nothing compared to season 3.. i think all that are left now are lousy.. and Randy Jackson just says the same old inconclusive stuff like "you noe man.. you were a bit shaky... your notes were a bit off.. but you're da bomb.. but i dunno... it's just not for me.... aw mann..." and Paula would just praise them to the skies like some bimbotic schoolgirl with no professional input at all. At least Simon Cowell's still putting in the cynical remarks.. which is why the show is worth watching.. but think he's running out of impressive stuff to say.
And wat happened to the guest judges?
Well.. this week Constantine's out.. and the radio's talking about it all day... but somehow I'm glad he got kicked out.. coz he's damn cocky.. always giving the smirk thinking he's damn popular.. I guess america thought it that way and decided to give him the boot. yeah.
But the fatso better be next.

Talking about boot.. yeah I decided that there are so many good shows on TV that I wanna watch!!! So let me list down the shows that I decided to occupy my weeknights once the exams are OVER... (yes this is aunty chio the gogglebox king speaking...)

Denise Keller is so damn CHIO
chio as in not clementchio の chio but she's darn pretty/beautiful/elegant/mesmorsing/smart/witty/cute/funny/alluring watever you wanna call it from all angles.. and watever she does its just so *fwah*.. it's not like some girls are pretty only at certain angles and plain like shit when they break away from their photogenic pose.. Denise Keller is just.. so.... angelic.
For the girls.. ok the guys are quite shuai too lah. nuff said.

Fann Wong acting as a schizo!! (however you spell it).. the plot till now is already so interweaved and perplexing and expecting to get even more crazy.. oooh but I like these type of shows! Let see.. Thomas Ong killed Fann Wong's father when he was young.. went to jail.. came out and got together with the (unknowing?) Fann Wong.. while the other side of Fann Wong got together with Thomas Ong's long-lost brother who is some rich brat.. and there's Yvonne Lim the potential accidentallyfindouteverything character who dunno what's going to happen to her... and Thomas Ong refuses to acknowledge his long-lost mother for dunno wat reason and Fann Wong's mother is crazy for dunno wat reason.. and this and that and you dunno who's the bad guy until show develops whoa okok.. so watch watch!! Even if you don't catch it.. nmind.. I'm bittorrenting every episode into my computer haa...
Chase
Utt meets his school-time crush like 10 years later. Hmm ring a bell anyone? (question directed at evelyn actually)
Not like it matters anymore now haa.. the real reason why it's worth watching coz of Linda Liao. Period. But after watching a few episodes the meeting-after-10-years part (a more familiar number was 7 I think haa) wasn't wat I fantasized it to be...

The series is over. And by now you know I'm a sucker for gongfu serials. I'm putting this down because this is the 1st marathon-drama I'm going to endure through once I finish the exams. Just like I finished Weiliang's 倚天屠龙记 in 3 days after last sem.

Again it's plain because I'm a sucker for gongfu serials. Though I think the show overall sucks.. too cheeena.. sometimes a bit boring.. but it sticks closely to the book.. and the effects are.. fwah.. hollywood-style.
OC
Actually I have to finish watching OC 1 first before embarking on OC 2... so the next series I'm going to conquer will be toad's collection of OC 1... then the OC 2.. the follow up with the Channel 5 episodes as 'rewatching'.
LEAVING HALL
2 days ago I (together with Kayping and Felicat) helped Suzanne lug her stuff to the main road to send her off. Peering to the empty room it kinda dawned on me that she's the first 'casualty' to leave us. And there was the tinge of we're-not-going-to-see-ya-in-a-long-time feeling.. the feeling of an uncontrollable potential loss of a good friend.
And before she left the room she said "Bye bye Sheares Hall. Bye bye Block D. Thanks for everything." She said with a smile. But I know you weren't smiling inside.
Well.. so much for stupid consequences for stupid decisions. Wanted to tell ya this that day itself but guess was too sleepy to think straight (i didn't sleep the night before)..
Thanks for the 1 year of great friendship.. rapport.. your siaozarborness.. your characteristic pessimistic-illusionary-emotional moodswings... Thanks for always being at the butt of our jokes even though you're screaming with fury inside (you'll definitely miss them from now on).. Remember the 2 big advice I gave you (I won't be surprised if you forgot them) and will try to jio you for block events next year but we all know that things will be different now not physically in hall. Good luck in your future path in this wretched university that's why I hope you get your NOC offer. And of course... hope you find your special someone outside the walls of the Sheares gallows. .
You know.. everything will be so much more dull now that you, such a colourful character, are exiting from the arena.
Of course, the best thing you can do now is to reverse the situation by finding a nice corner in Felicat's room and bunk in.. if not.. well you can consider the level 3 offer.. hur hur...
Sigh.. Separation is always not a good feeling.. it's just like the before-army days.. when I thought it was almost definite that the mafbrothers will 'disband' in the course of NS.. but we survived strongly till now. Just how much effort we want to keep the friendship going.
And this separation feeling will surface again.. and again... and again... when people from hall come and go.. and everyone'll be trying so hard to maintain so many friendships that it's only possible to have a core group of friends and manymanymany hi-bye friends.. hi-bye friends that we once spent good times together.. hi-bye friends that conversation topics can only span around the past everytime we meet... and hi-bye friends that soon play a functional role rather than an emotional icon in life.
That is.. part of Durkheim's theory of Functionality. Ah my sociology has come to good use.

Ok on a lighter note I was talking to bx and realised he was selling g-strings at 2 for $3.90 for his YEP fund raising! Wat a crazy thing to sell.. so cheap some more haha... too bad not near buaya week or something otherwise would have bought for all the girls or something... haa like last time me and Mukund bought bras for all the girls in PUBCO haaaa...

Whoa you survived till here... think this is my longest blog entry yet.. yes yes.. that's what happens if I don't blog for so long.. ideas just get crammed in my head and I have to let it all out.. maybe this is blog-therapy. Will it's like 4 hours since I started.. with studying and blogging intermittently..
