Another boring blog post about my uneventful day.. that's the life of an office worker

You would be surprised how healthy singaporeans are..
Tonight would be my ONLY night this week (other than monday) I won't have to go sell my life to Starhub.. hence I took the golden opportunity to hit the pool..
And I was expecting a nice, cool, relaxing swim.. kinda hoped to destress after a day of unproductive phone calls. And hopefull get some exercise for the week as well...
And voila! My my my Clementi Swimming Complex was PACKED! The pool was like filled with people.. people from all walks of life.. of all ages.. aunties, uncles.. young punks like myself.. children.. working adults (like myself again).. even old men. And mind you it was like close to 7.30pm when I arrived at the pool.
So the 20 laps were far from relaxing.. since I had to dodge and change lanes and even swim under people to avoid ghastly collisions. Need I mention that the pool water would naturally be.. er.. filthy? It least it was.. salty. Yucks.
Swimming without goggles hence left my eyes freaking uncomforatble the whole night.. and I actually endured American Idol, 镜中人 and An Eye for a Guy with my eyes half closed.. trying to squeeze tears out to clense my eyes..
Well.. it definitely feels better now.. after eyedrop-therapy.. lots of eyedrops in fact.
Now wat happened to my goggles......?
I just checked the SRC website.. I guess I'd never go back to Clementi Swimming Complex after work again.. after this horrandous experience. Cool that the SRC pool opens till 9pm. Moreover it's free.. and of course.. nearer to my home. Ha.
But of course Mr. Moneyminded-Me has committed myself to Thursnight, Frinight, Saturnoon and SunDAY to Starhub telemarketing.. But after having the night at home today.. I kinda have to urge to just abandon this Starhub job.. I mean.. I already have a rather stable day job and aimlessly calling people I don't know to sell starhub services is like damn demoralising.. especially when I can't clinch any sale while the guy opposite me can.
Argh. But it's so not like me to quit like that. I'd probably slog it out till the end of this week to see if the financial rewards are worth it.. aye.. but I really really want my nights and weekends.. after all.. it's the HOLIDAYS.. and I.. yah.. have comm stuff to do.
Well.. I'm heading to dreamland soon.. kinda tired now.. after the swim.. and have to prepare for another dreadful day at work. On the bright side though the people at my workplace are rather nice people.. (with the exception of maybe my supervisor who snapped at me and my cubicle-neighbour (a chiobu) for talking at 1.35pm (5 mins after lunchtime).. ) Luckily there was Tat around.. so it wasn't so difficult knowing the people around... and yah.. i'm still in the process of registering Tat's name as Gabriel... or so that's what he's so fondly called there.
Amoy Street food centre's food is totally fantastic! Can't wait to try out every stall there.. though it's always freaking crowded during lunchtime. And yes.. there's also the place to have my daily dose of pretty office ladies.
Still, I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow.
