I'm Back!!!
SWOC is finally over!! And it surely did end with a blast.. haha.. of course with the ponding of Zhiqian, Veron and Shiqin at the Block B pond.. singing the Hall Anthem and the 超级派 cheer.. broke my no-supper policy and headed down to Fong Seng for Nasi Lemak and slept allll the way till 11am today....
It was a great orientation! Though long.. and had to juggle fluctuating and constantly decreasing numbers of freshmen day by day.. this year's programme beat last year's flat. Dunno whether it's a Sheares Hall thing or wad but it kinda sucked when KR's pool games were filled with cheering crowds while ours was just those few cats some of which refused to get into the pool....
And Block D Rocks la.. the kids were great.. siao on.. bond really well.. self-entertaining.. what can I say man? Was really touched and impressed when they all divided themselves really well and started cooking in the kitchen that carnival day... We councillors just had to sit by the side and do nothing.. other than shyuan who helped them a bit.. (ok we senior guys are lousy in the kitchen)
The block will definitely be more interesting with this bunch of kids around.. at least we won't be trashed at IBG again I think.. and someone please revive the sleeping 小猫 to do crazy stuff.. and of course fantastic block suppers with the lot of good cooks we have.
Well well.. hereby my hectic holidays could have ended.. but no.. I got myself into rag.. Back to the dancing callefarre again. Not exactly Synchronised Movement of Props again like last year.. a bit of dancing (I hope.. otherwise it'll really be damn callefarre) and more importantly soaking up the spirit of Rag on Saturday itself. Think the time wasted would definitely be worth it....
Good times fly by. SWOC did. And I'm sure next week would end in a jiffy too.
I'm so glad I continued to stay. =)
