Since Kinyew is in Belgium.. might as well meet up with him right? Just so happens that Eng Kheng will be visiting him at the same time too! So coincidental! So here's to the land of fine chocolates and waffles...
Brussels
Decided to conquer the capital of Belgium on the 1st day.. Oh well.. but as Kinyew had lessons most of the time EngKheng and I were walking around on a route Kinyew drew out for us not knowing what the hell we were seeing. So we went by Engkheng's rule - Take photo first, google later. (I never bothered to google haha) Probably the only thing I remembered was the Mannequin Piss (an overrated small statue symbolic of Brussels) and the Grande Place.
Visited the comic museum.. but too bad everything was in Dutch (or was it French?) Haha.. but both of us agreed the only part of the whole museum where both of us understood was the Erotic Comic part haha! guys...
We went back to Brussels again the next few nights... because it happened to be this Sablon night where the high class streets had 'open houses' and we could walk in to have free samples of.. HIGH CLASS CHOCOLATES! On the first night it was by accident when EK and I were given the best hot chocolate in the world for tasting. Then it was a whole night of acting atas and trying out the best chocolates in the world.. yum yum...
Bruges
By this time Fangxi joined us. Yeap after her last missed flight to Brussels I jiooed her to join us and she managed to come here by bus/ship. So we ventured to Bruges.. a nice small town where we took lotsa photos and only remember a bustling marketplace with an outdoor ice-skating ring. Oh yes.. and nice cheap chocolates =)
Antwerp
Didn't know Antwerp's the city of Diamonds until now. Went to the diamond museum then walked along the streets lor. The only think i remembered was the wooden escalator. Haha.
