First of all, I'm super FUCKING pissed right now about my iPod.. and the camera connector.. or whatever caused that motherfucking device to fail.
Yes, that bloody FUCKER machine crashed this morning. For narbei cheebye what reason.. went into a restart loop. Went online and tried all sorts of things from getting it into disk mode to diagnostic mode to letting the fucking battery dry out and it didn't work. Puts me in a super pissed mode the whole day.
Went back and tried to use iTunes to restore the iPod.. and using the hostel's iTunes on their computer.. EVERY BLOODY THING IS IN POLISH!! Great.. I made very sure I scanned through all the warning messages that there was no 'Format' in them before I restored the iPod.
And yes, I restored the iPod.
WITH EVERY MOTHER FUCKING DATA DELETED!
ALL MY MUSIC, ALL MY VIDEOS
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
ALL MY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS I EVER SAVED IN THAT STUPID DEVICE!!!
Sure, I have all my music and videos back in my laptop at home. I probably will be able to live with no music and entertainment on long train rides for the next 2 weeks..
BUT ALL OUR VIDEOS ON THIS TRIP ARE GONE!! ALL THE VIDEOS THAT I PAINSTAKINGLY TOOK.. ALL THE SILLY MOMENTS THAT I CAPTURED ON CAMERA. ALL GONE.
I should have not meddled with the iPod and waited till I went back to Singapore and try to recover the data using Linux or something.
I'm going to sleep and cry my hearts out.
I'm so sorry to everyone on the trip for the loss of our videos. :'(
